We've written about the visionary technology that became reality from "Star Trek" and other sci-fi classics, but we've never seen a better, geekier or more comprehensive list than this infographic. It shows more than 20 movies and shows from the past 50 years, their technological vision of the future and the current technologies they predicted way back when. Whether the writers behind these shows had the power of prediction or simply inspired future inventors is up for debate. What we know for sure is that while the real future is much less futuristic than all the fictional versions we've seen so far, a number of key technologies have made their way from the screen to real life.
