A survey conducted by Enterprise Strategy Group in February 2013 found that while most companies pay to be able to retrieve 100 percent of the data they back up, most recover less than 20 percent of their backed up data annually. This infographic from Asigra claims that the practice is unfair and that most respondents would prefer a model that charges for backup and recovery separately.
What do you think? Is the backup pricing model unfair? What should companies be doing (and paying) to ensure business continuity?
