Beyond all the CRM functionality you’d expect, you get built-in email capabilities, ample templates, and solid collaboration tools, including whiteboards. It’s also very easy to use.

The only real nitpick is that it lacks a free plan — but there is a 15-day free trial on offer. Some CRMs offer more AI capabilities too, but it all depends on your specific needs.

Monday CRM remains one of the best solutions if you’re after value for money.

Monday is one of the best small business CRMs, thanks to its incredibly affordable basic plan. It offers unlimited custom pipelines, contacts, and unlimited boards and viewers.

We were impressed that this plan also offers ready-made templates for leads, contacts, and deals, and you can even create an entire dashboard out of one board if needed.

That said, this plan lacks automation. Overall, though, although providers like Pipedrive are cheaper, Monday is budget-friendly compared to the likes of Salesforce or Act! CRM, for example.

This plan has an AI email generator that can quickly craft engaging email copy with a short prompt. It also offers 250 automation actions a month, enough for small and growing businesses.

Along with that, you even get templates for quotes and invoices, 2-way integration with Gmail and Outlook, activity management, and the ability to merge duplicate data to keep your CRM database clean.

Analytics and forecasting are among those not included in this plan, so sales teams will want to consider one of the plans below for this. Email marketing features are also not included in this plan.

Pro - $28/seat/month

This plan provides email tracking, sales analytics, and the ability to send out mass emails. It also includes custom email signatures, and you can integrate with Google Calendar.

All must-have features for sales teams, and it’s worth noting that this offers excellent value for money when compared to rivals. For example, mass email with Salesforce costs $52 more than this.

This plan is the go-to for large businesses in need of enterprise-level security, governance, automation, and integrations. Plus, you’ll get Monday’s deal-scoring feature.

This tells you how likely a deal is to be closed, ensuring your sales reps focus their time on qualified leads. Of course, this plan also offers things like multi-level permissions and HIPAA compliance.

Although Monday CRM doesn’t offer a free plan, as you’d find with Monday’s project management software, you still have a 14-day free trial that you can use on all the plans, apart from the Enterprise one.

Having tested numerous CRMs, it was easy to pinpoint Monday CRM’s USPs and where it falls a bit short. Feature-wise here’s what we found was noteworthy during our Monday CRM review.

Emails are great for connecting with leads and customers, but manually emailing everyone isn’t convenient. With Monday CRM, you can send out bulk emails — each one personalized.

Then you can use the built-in email tracking to check when these emails are delivered and even opened. If you don’t know what to write, you can pick one of Monday’s email templates.

Or, you can use Monday’s AI email generator to compose professional and compelling email pieces. Talking of AI, we did find that Salesforce’s AI features were more advanced.

You can do just about everything with Salesforce’s AI – track conversations, get email insights, and automate lead scoring. The catch? It costs a whopping $330/month — 13x more than Monday.

Overall, despite not offering the most advanced capabilities, Monday suits most businesses pretty well. However, if you need more and have the budget, then certainly consider Salesforce.

As the first point of contact with new leads is usually on your website, we liked how Monday CRM lets you embed contact forms on your site for lead generation.

Once you have the lead, Monday’s lead scoring offers insight into the chances of the deal being successful, so your sales reps can better prioritize leads. We found this all worked really well.

It also integrates with Gmail and Outlook, so any email received will be reflected on your Monday CRM account. Plus, as with emails, you have ample templates for leads, contact, and deal management.

After a lead materializes, you can use Monday’s deal pipeline feature to track the deal’s progress. Compared to HubSpot, for example, we found that Monday’s deal pipeline is easier to use.

For starters, you can add unlimited boards even on Monday’s most basic plan, which means you can manage unlimited deal pipelines. HubSpot only allows 15 pipelines on its $450/month plan.

Team Management Functions

Monday CRM lets you add unlimited free viewers to collaborate without incurring added costs. You’ll also get embedded documents and whiteboard collaboration.

Plus, Monday CRM logs every call, text, and email exchanged between your agents and customers — we’d expect nothing less from a CRM, but the interface is notably quite user-friendly.

On top of this, the highest-end plan also includes private workspaces, and micro-level session management, alongside valuable work performance insights.

Planning & Analytical Tools

We have to start by mentioning the Headcount Planning tool. This helps you meet your hiring goals by helping you ensure that you aren’t over or under-utilizing your resources.

Sales Forecast, Sales Analytics, and Analytics also combine to offer ample insights into the metrics that matter most, so you’ll know your financial standing and your team/project performance, for example.

All of this can help you make important business decisions for the new quarter. That said, although Monday is known for its Kanban overview, it offers several other views.

You’ll have the option to use Timeline (or Gantt), calendar, map, and chart to visualize the work in progress, your leads, deals, or financial situation in a manner that makes it easiest for you and your team.

Monday CRM Integrations integrates with a wide variety of business apps – over 200, divided into multiple categories, including marketing, project management, software development, and team management.

Overall, 200 isn’t the best, nor is it the worst. That isn’t a problem. What’s important is to note the integrations you need and to ensure the provider offers them on the plan you can afford.

Monday CRM is undoubtedly very safe to use. For starters, the company protects your passwords by hashing and salting them, which makes it incredibly difficult for a hacker to decrypt them.

Day-to-day data is protected by AES- 256-bit encryption, too, whereas data in transit is protected by TLS 1.3 encryption — both industry-standard security protocols.
