Microsoft HealthVault is a free personal health record (PHR) service offered by Microsoft for keeping records of an individual’s everyday health status. The application can be downloaded and installed on smartphones, tablets and other handheld devices and gadgets, where the app is easily accessible and it can also record a user's physical activity or exercise. A person can share records with friends, family or an online physician with access to health management tools and software. The user can also store or co-manage family members' or pet’s health records within the same account but with different folders, and manage the records online.
