Techopedia Explains Personal Java

Personal Java provided consumer devices with a basic virtual Java machine. Be Incorporated made their operating system (BeOS) compliant with Personal Java by creating a diminished version called BeIA (also called Beia). Be claims superiority to other similar software because BeIA is compliant with Flash, Real Java and Personal Java, making BeIA a complete product.
