CSA's primary focus is fostering the education and guidance of cloud computing security through routine cloud security updates.

Formed in 2008, CSA issues periodic research, industry insights, case studies, recommendations, etc. In addition to serving as a standardization and guiding body for cloud security, CSA recently launched the Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK), which is a program geared toward training and retaining qualified and well-equipped professionals to handle cloud security challenges and threat mitigation.
