ROFLCon was an annual gathering of celebrities, journalists and scholars that met to analyze Internet culture. The first ROFLCon was held April 25-26, 2008 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and was organized by Tim Hwang and Christina Xu, Harvard University students.

Because ROFLCon appealed to Internet meme culture aficionados, the conference has drawn notable Internet celebrities, including the authors of Questionable Content, Dinosaur comics, xkcd, Leeroy Jenkins and Jay Maynard (The Tron Guy).
