IT Operations management is the entity responsible for operation of an organization’s applications and IT infrastructure along with control and maintenance on a continuous basis.
The main focus of the IT operations management is the delivery of a stable service in accordance with the agreed levels of service. In other words, It operations managements controls and monitors all operations related to IT infrastructure and IT services.
In an organization, there could be overlaps between IT operations management and application management as well as technical management, However IT operations management is a distinct function, though both technical and application management can be part of the same.
