What Does Personal VPN Mean?

Personal VPN is type of VPN connection or service that is meant for an individual or personal use rather than business use.

It is used to design and protect an individual’s personal home or office network and connected devices from external attacks or exploitations.

Techopedia Explains Personal VPN

Personal VPN enables end users to create a VPN tunnel between their devices and a remote network, such as a personal VPN that interconnects an individual’s mobile phone, computer or laptop with their office computer, server and/or the network. The tunnel creates a secure and encrypted communication path, ensuring that all data sent and received is safe from hackers and eavesdroppers. A VPN service can also used by individuals to browse anonymously, where their IP address and location is not disclosed.
