What Does Exbibyte Mean?

An exbibyte (EiB) is a unit of digital information storage used to denote the size of data. It is equivalent to 2^60, or 1,152,921,504,606,846,976, bytes and equal to 1,024 pebibytes.

Techopedia Explains Exbibyte

Exbibyte is related to an exabyte, which is equal to 10¹⁸, or 1,000,000,000,000,000,000, bytes. Exbibyte comes before zebibyte and after pebibyte. It was created by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) but its use has been diminished in favor of the SI unit exabyte.
