Exbibyte is related to an exabyte, which is equal to 1018, or 1,000,000,000,000,000,000, bytes. Exbibyte comes before zebibyte and after pebibyte. It was created by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) but its use has been diminished in favor of the SI unit exabyte.
