Functioning as a layer-1 blockchain protocol, the AIOZ Network facilitates the swift relay of content across both Cosmos and Ethereum ecosystems, fostering seamless interoperability across both networks.

To make this possible, each user runs the AIOZ node desktop app, available on Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems (OS). This app optimizes users’ computational resources, network bandwidth, and storage mechanisms to store digital media content.
When a user in a specific location searches for a file, it is instantly retrieved from the nearest node rather than a distant centralized server. This approach significantly reduces the cost and time required to access the desired file.
Beyond expediting content delivery, this decentralized framework enhances video streaming quality. Moreover, AIOZ Network eliminates the barriers between content creators and their supporters in the traditional content delivery landscape.
In return for running the node app, users earn the AIOZ token. This token is compatible with the Ethereum and Cosmos’ Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol.
The AIOZ Network Token
The AIOZ Network is powered by the AIOZ token, which functions as an ERC-20 token and is built on the Cosmos blockchain. As of December 1, 2023, the digital token has a total supply of 1 billion, with 993 million plus already in circulation.
Besides serving as the standard mechanism for transaction settlement, the AIOZ token performs several other functions:
- Staking AIOZ: Holders of the digital token have the option to lock up (stake) their assets, contributing to the security of the blockchain network against potential malicious attacks. In return for this commitment, users receive a variable annual percentage yield (APY), depending on the inflation metrics of the network per time.
- Reward Mechanism: The AIOZ token serves as a reward mechanism for Delivery Nodes (DNs) that dedicate their computing resources, storage, and bandwidth to ensure the efficient delivery of content within the network.
How Does AIOZ Network Work?
AIOZ Network operates through a twin-turbo structure that leverages the unique advantages of blockchain and distributed storage technology.
The blockchain layer addresses security, transparency, and governance concerns, while the distributed storage system prioritizes the swift delivery of digital media content.
Powering both layers is the novel proof-of-delivery (PoD) consensus mechanism, which directly pays nodes for delivering the required content to end-users.
The nodes are categorized into three essential components:
- Content Providers (CPs): CPs are the source of digital media content sent to the AIOZ Network. These can be creators, publishers, or platforms seeking a direct connection with their supporters.
- Delivery Nodes (DNs): DNs play the most crucial role in the blockchain media infrastructure protocol. They are responsible for storing and delivering digital media content to requesting Edge Nodes (ENs).
- Edge Nodes (ENs): ENs are the end-users who request video content. Following the efficient dispatch by the DN, these users can stream the files on their devices. Additionally, ENs have the capability to share their storage and bandwidth resources with other ENs, thereby establishing a cluster network that enhances the performance and resilience of the AIOZ Network.
History of AIOZ Network
Established in 2021, AIOZ Network is the brainchild of Erman Tjiputra, an accomplished blockchain developer based in Singapore who also serves as the company’s CEO.
The team is complemented by other key members, including Hien Nguyen, the head of blockchain; Trieu Nguyen, the Chief Technology Officer (CTO); Hung Nguyen, overseeing project management; and Quang Tran, leading the AI department.
