Fortnite’s Chapter 6 Season 1 kicked off on December 1, 2024. And it brought with it a stadium-sized list of Fortnite quests and challenges; including all-new and returning quests for players to meticulously work through or incidentally tick off.
The Fortnite quests for Chapter 6 Season 1 are rooted in the Japanese mythology-inspired map for the new chapter, meaning you can expect references to samurai in the season now referred to as Hunters.
Naturally, the theme has permeated the Fortnite Battle Pass too, but we’re not here for that.
What we are here for, and what you’ll find below, are Fortnite weekly quests, challenges, and the latest season-themed story quests as well. Maybe we are here for Japanese mythology, then.
Key Takeaways
- Daily, Weekly, and Story quests are available for Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1.
- New weapons expertise quests are available across the weapon categories.
- There are five story quests linked to the Season’s Japanese theme.
- The season quests run for a total of six weeks.
- Godzilla Monsterverse Quests are the latest in Fortnite.
Fortnite Weekly Quests
Fortnite weekly quests are updated weekly. However, all the quests will remain until the end of the season. So if you can’t complete them right now, you can always do them later if you have time.
Remember, though, these needn’t be a chore. It’s always more enjoyable to complete Fortnite challenges for fun; that way, if you miss any, then you enjoyed what you did.

How to Complete Fortnite Quests in Chapter 6, Season 1
To complete the Fortnite quests in Chapter 6 Season 1, follow the directions given in the quest details of the ‘Quests’ menu and sub-menus with Fortnite launches. These details are usually literal instructions and will be the best guidance for completing Fortnite quests.
Although locations to complete quests aren’t always given, you are sometimes shown where on the map you need to go; particularly for Fortnite story quests. Use this information to place a marker for easy reference when you are in-game.
The Bottom Line
Chapter 6 Season 1’s quests offer a range of new story quests, as well as returning and new quests and challenge types, and even Godzilla. Fortnite quests add another layer to playing the game – after all, completing Fortnite challenges for fun is what it’s all about.
This chapter’s first season offers some interesting story quests too. There’s plenty here for weapons and weekly quests fans, and running around the map completing them offers some solid side-quests while the storm closes in.
