The Black Friday NFL game was only born in 2023 but already feels like a tradition.
The two-time reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs will host their AFC West rivals, the Las Vegas Raiders, the day after Thanksgiving.
What was already a three-game Thanksgiving feast for NFL fans, is now extended by a day.
Most of the sports world plays on Black Friday. However, the NFL is the behemoth of North American sports, which means all eyes will be on Kansas City for the huge divisional affair.

NFL Black Friday Game Preview
The Chiefs could head to the Black Friday game on a 17-game win streak. Though, it should be noted, their most recent loss came in a showcase, national-television game on a major holiday to the Raiders.
Las Vegas went east to KC and, despite being rank underdogs with NFL betting sites, stole a stunning 20-14 victory over the Chiefs on Christmas Day in 2023, handing the Chiefs their most recent loss.
Kansas City has been dominant since.
The Chiefs held off the Raiders 27-20 in the teams’ first meeting at Allegiant Stadium on Oct. 27, enhancing their win streak to 13 straight, including the playoffs.
History may be on the line too, since only one team has ever gone unbeaten over a 16- or 17-game season – the 2007 New England Patriots.
Only five teams in the Super Bowl era have ever won 18-or-more games in a row, the most recent being the 2010-11 Green Bay Packers.
Whichever way you look at this game the Chiefs are the team to beat.
The Raiders are a team on a very different trajectory.
They’re heading nowhere except spoiler territory this season and are squarely in last place in the AFC West.
Coach Antonio Pierce has struggled in his first full season in the silver and black, especially on offense, where Las Vegas has used three quarterbacks in nine games.
