Can you make money playing the slots? For most of us, the answer is simple: no. They might be fun to play but the odds are always in the casino’s favor.

However, one man has made a huge stack of chips, simply by spinning the slots. Say hello to the Spinmeister Extraordinaire: Brian Christopher.

In June this year, Christopher signed an exclusive partnership deal with BetMGM. He is now an ‘official ambassador’ for the brand, helping to showcase new products and drive marketing campaigns.

So, who exactly is the casino star, how has he managed to achieve the impossible and what is Brian Christopher’s net worth?

Just how has this 43-year-old Canadian, former Uber driver, and aspiring actor, managed to spin his way to success?

In a nutshell: Brian Christopher is arguably the most successful slots social media influencer on the planet, with more than 1.8 million subscribers on Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. He even has his own exclusive slots room at the Plaza Casino in Las Vegas. He is the Spinfluencer.

Online estimates forecast Brian Christopher Slots’ net worth to be anywhere from $210,000 to a whopping $3,000,000.

From humble beginnings, Christopher now has a team of 12 working for him, out of his Palm Springs office. His videos have amassed more than one billion views.

He has eight million monthly viewers watching him work his magic on the slots.

Working out the value of Brian Christopher Slots’ net worth is tricky. Christopher is proud to be transparent about his wins and losses on the slots.

However, when it comes to his business turnover and personal wealth, he’s staying mum.

He said: “I have always been a proponent for responsible gaming. So, I am transparent. Every dollar I spend on the machines goes to tape. I’m not hiding the wins or the losses. The viewers see everything. It’s an entertainment budget. Have fun with it. Treat it like a concert ticket.”

He acknowledges that gambling is ‘our biggest expense’. In 2022, he lost more than $300,000 on the slots. In 2023, the losses were about $350,000.

However, with a dozen employees who ‘we look after really well, with healthcare’, as well as offices in Palm Springs, the expenses are estimated at a million dollars a year.

When asked if the business was making between three and six million dollars a year, Christopher didn’t deny it.

The slots guru would be the first to admit winning at the casino machines. However, there are things you can do to maximize your chances with these winning slots tips.

Spin to Win

Put your faith in fate and sometimes you get lucky. In 2011, aged 30, Christopher moved to California, with his husband Marco, to pursue his lifelong dream: a career in acting.

To make ends meet, as he auditioned and struggled to get parts, he worked as an Uber driver.

The pair had moved from Toronto to Palm Springs. Whilst preparing for a trip to Las Vegas, researching places to stay in Sin City on YouTube, Christopher stumbled across homemade videos of people gambling.

He said: “I decided let’s go to Vegas and check it out. We’d never been there before. That’s when I found out about these videos online; where people will film themselves playing slots and share them with the world.

“It seemed really silly that anyone would actually watch somebody else play slot machines. It doesn’t make any sense to me; still to this day. But it was really enjoyable and it captured me.”

“I thought: maybe I will film a couple of those and stick them on my acting channel for fun. I posted these videos. At the time, I had 10 or 15 subscribers. Within a week, I had 1,000 subscribers and everybody was asking me when the next one was coming out.”

Within a month, Christopher had thousands of subscribers on YouTube. He was starting to make money.

He said: “I thought: I’ve been doing this acting thing for like 25 years. Maybe, I should put that on hold for a little bit to see where this takes me. I started the channel in 2016. I got monetized within three or four weeks.”

Spinning Winners

Eight years since its beginning, Christopher now has a range of ventures in his portfolio, including his main YouTube channel: BC Slots, BC Sweeps – which focuses on sweepstakes-based gambling, and an informational content platform FlipTheSwitch.com.

As well as all his online platforms and social channels, Christopher also has a partnership deal with Carnival Cruise Lines.

Ten times a year you can set sail, and spin the slots, with Christopher, as he entertains up to 750 subscribers, nicknamed affectionately as the ‘Rudies’, from his various websites and platforms.

There’s more: Christopher has also got his own slots room at the Plaza Casino.

The room has all his favorite slots. He said: “I only want to promote a smoke-free casino. Plaza built me a 100% smoke-free zone. It’s the only place in downtown Las Vegas where you can gamble smoke-free.”

In August 2022, Christopher collaborated with online casino software developers Gaming Arts to create his own 1,047 ways-to-win, five-reel, slot machine: Pop’N Pays More.

In January 2024, he started making headroads into the online gambling space, signing a sponsorship deal with New Jersey-facing online casino BetMGM.

The Future for Brian Christopher Slots

When the BC Slots channel was launched eight years ago, there were only five channels. It took only six months for Brian Christopher Slots to lead the field. Today, there are 1,000s of slot streamers fighting for a piece of the action.

“I have to stay relevant. I’ve always been an entrepreneur,” he said. “I had business cards when I was aged 11. I did the paper route. I cut the neighbor’s lawn.

“I worked in McDonalds at 15. I was a manager at 16. The competition forces me to stay fresh. I have to reinvent myself and find new things to do.

“As you grow, you have to put your trust in other people. I have a larger audience on Facebook than YouTube. Online gambling is available only in six states. It will continue to grow.

“I plan to get a bigger audience by expanding our channels and, maybe even, looking at Netflix. There are also 10 more cruises scheduled for 2025. I don’t think I will ever slow down. I am having too much fun.”
