Talor Gooch’s Net Worth, Career Earnings, Wife and Family

Talor Gooch made one of the biggest decisions in his professional career when he decided to leave the PGA Tour for the LIV Golf League last year. By moving to the LIV Golf League, Gooch knew that his chances at winning a Major Championship weren’t going to be possible for a while.

However, the upside of joining the LIV Golf League is the amount of money coming in. The purses and payouts are ridiculously generous, it was one of the main ways the league detracted players from the PGA Tour. Along with huge paydays, the LIV Golf League has an easier schedule with fewer events but more money.

For Gooch, it’s been a wild ride. In the 2023 LIV Golf season, he’s earned a total of $35,391,411 with one more event still left on the schedule. Gooch has already made almost four times more in one year compared to his seven years on the PGA Tour.

However, in just two years in the LIV Golf League, his life has completely changed. In just two years in the Saudi-backed league, Gooch has raked in over $45 million in earnings on the golf course.

As a result, his net worth has skyrocketed to an estimated $40 million. Gooch has become a breakout player in the league, winning three events last year in Adelaide, Singapore, and Andalucia.

Gooch likely also received an undisclosed signing bonus when joining LIV Golf.

Several other players, including Dustin Johnson and Phil Mickelson, received anywhere between $100 to $200 million for leaving the PGA Tour. While Gooch may not have commanded as much money as his peers, he most likely still received a signing bonus of at least $20 million.

Since LIV Golf League events aren’t officially recognized by the Official World Golf Rankings, Gooch is positioned 408th in the world.

He won’t be exempt from the Masters but he’ll have the chance at the Open and U.S. Open. According to the best online gambling sites, Gooch has +12500 odds to win the Open and +10000 to win the U.S. Open
