Minecraft and Beats are launching the US and UK-exclusive Minecraft x Beats Solo 4 headphones to celebrate the game’s 15th anniversary.
The ultra-light, creeper-inspired headphones will be available for $200 (£200) for a limited run from July 18th. Snag them at Apple.com and Target.com in the US or from ee.co.uk in the UK. You can also pick up a pair at certain Apple store locations in the US and the EE flagship store in Westfield White City, London.
With metallic green hinges and a pixelated design, these headphones not only look the part but also boast immersive sound thanks to Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking and 40mm transducers. They pack up to 50 hours of battery life and come with a cable for a USB-C wired connection with lossless audio.
Included in the box is a code that can be redeemed for an exclusive in-game headphone character item, wearing, of course, the new Minecraft x Beats headphones.
To celebrate the launch of these sleek headphones, Apple 5th Avenue is hosting a free event on July 18th with Tinakitten and Apple Music Radio host Travis Mills. The event will feature an unboxing of the Minecraft x Beats Solo 4 followed by a Q&A, product signing, and photo op.
Tinakitten will also reveal her Minecraft-inspired playlist which you can listen to exclusively on Apple Music from July 19th at 12:30PM ET/6.30pm CET. The event is free but with limited spots, you’ll need to sign up to attend.
