A recent leak has suggested that Ubisoft is working on a new Assassin’s Creed multiplayer game with a gameplay style reminiscent of Fall Guys.
This rumor was shared on Saturday by a well-known source in the Assassin’s Creed community, French YouTuber j0nathan, who has provided reliable information about the series in the past.

The game, allegedly called Assassin’s Creed Invictus, is expected to feature 16 players competing across multiple rounds in various game modes.
Among the modes confirmed by the leaker are team deathmatch, free-for-all, and a race where players must reach luminous points scattered on the map. Players who advance to the final rounds will be able to select special abilities to customize their character builds for a climactic battle.
The gameplay has been described as “arcade-like,” with characters delivering hits that have minimal physical impact and using bubble shields similar to those in Super Smash Bros.
The camera perspective will be pulled back, making the characters appear smaller on screen. In addition, players will be able to use iconic characters from the franchise, such as Ezio and Cesare Borgia.
Maps will also feature familiar locations from previous Assassin’s Creed games, including Baghdad (Assassin’s Creed Mirage), Japan (Assassin’s Creed Shadows), and Pompeii, with dynamic hazards like rising lava.
While these details sound exciting, Ubisoft has not yet responded to Techopedia’s request for comment on the matter. In any case, the game could see significant changes before its alleged release next year.
