Harry Potter fans looking to try the books’ signature sport can now expect to play Quidditch Champions on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, and Xbox Series X/S this September 3.
The single-player and multiplayer title has you playing Quidditch with many of the characters as depicted in the Harry Potter movies.
This includes major roles like Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Ginny as well as supporting characters you’ll likely recognize, such as superstar Viktor Krum.
As you’d expect, you’ll also play in familiar venues ranging from Hogwarts through to the Quidditch World Cup arena. You can customize your player with special brooms, wands, and outfits.
The title is a companion of sorts to the single-player Hogwarts Legacy, and a return to an experience not seen since 2003’s Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup. It’s safe to say the game mechanics and visuals will have evolved considerably in the past two decades, though, and many of those playing Quidditch Champions will never have seen its predecessor.
