Honor has launched an all-new Nadal Kids Edition variant of its Pad X8a in India. 

The new model comes with a variety of features specially designed for children and is priced below Rs 15,000 (approx $179) in India. 

Commenting on the launch, CP Khandelwal, CEO of PR Innovations, highlighted the key features of the tablet such as the eye-comfort-certified display, durable kid-friendly design, and content specifically tailored for children. He further added that the device is designed for supporting children’s growth in the digital age.

Specifications and Price

The Honor Pad X8a Nadal Kids Edition weighs 495g and measures 7.25mm. It features a metal unibody design and comes with a protective, child-safe, food-grade silicone case for improved durability.

The tablet packs an 11in screen with support for a 90Hz screen refresh rate and features an Eye Comfort Mode that minimizes blue light exposure, making screen time safer for children. Honor has equipped the device with an Ambient Light Care to alleviate eye strain and an E-ink mode for a paper-like reading experience. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 680 processor and runs on Magic OS 8.0. It also includes a Quad-surround speaker system for an improved listening experience.

The tablet comes with a specially designed pen allowing kids to doodle, write, and learn. Additionally, the tablet comes with parental guidance tools to allow parents to monitor usage. 

The device is priced at Rs 13,9999 (approx $167). The company is currently offering the tablet at an exclusive introductory price of Rs 10,999.
