The tablet market isn’t slowing down. Last May, Apple launched its top-of-the-range iPad Pro 2024 and a new iPad Air 6, and Samsung is rumored to be working on a Galaxy Tab 10.
Away from those big two, Oneplus and Xiaomi have also stamped their feet on the tablet market with tablet releases this year. And there are rumors that Infinix, known for producing mid-range smartphone models, is making an entry with the launch of a new tablet – the Infinix XPad.
The Infinix XPad is the first tablet from the company, and leaks reveal an 11-inch LCD, MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate processor paired with 4 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage.
While we await official confirmation from Infinix on this upcoming XPad tablet, here is everything we have learned from the leaks and renders, plus the potential release date.
Is Infinix XPad Coming Out?

Infinix is yet to make any announcement on the XPad tablet. Rumors hint that the tablet is in the final stages of development and launch anytime.
The Infinix XPad reportedly comes with Android 14 (flavored as Infinix XOS), and hopefully has an upgrade path to Android 15, expected to arrive by August 2024.
Infinix recently launched its first-ever gaming laptop, along with the second generation of its gaming phone, which all sit in the budget-friendly category, so we think this upcoming XPad tablet will also be a mid-range device that will be affordable for most users.

One of the noticeable features of the XPad from a leak shared on X is in the display. Infinix XPad is expected to boast an 11-inch FHD 90Hz display. This display is seen to have narrow, symmetrical bezels on the sides.

The Infinix XPad is also expected to come equipped with the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate chipset, which is based on the TSMC N6 chip production process. This processor may bring intelligent display sync to the XPad which means the power efficiency of the tablet will be on the high end.
Leaks also reveal that the Infinix XPad features at least 4GB RAM and 128GB/256GB expandable storage.
The primary camera is expected to be 12MP with an LED light flash and 8MP secondary sensor. Other rumors tip the Infinix XPad to have a 7,000mAh battery, 18W wired fast charging support, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.
The Infinix XPad will likely operate the Android 14-based XOS custom skin out of the box.
According to a recent report from an Indian tech outlet, the Infinix XPad may launch with a keyboard, marketed as a Bluetooth Folio Keyboard.
The report also revealed that Infinix is working on a new earbud known as XBuds 3 Loop, but the details of these products are unknown, other than they are expected to launch in the global market alongside the Infinix XPad.
Infinix XPad Colors
Frost Blue, Stellar Gray, Titan Gold
Infinix XPad specifications posted on X (above) showed images of the tablet in three color options — Frost Blue, Stellar Gray, and Titan Gold. A portion on the left side of the tablet’s plastic back cover appears to have a shiny, patterned finish.
The top left corner seems to house a dual rear camera unit alongside an LED flash within a squarish module with round edges. It is important to note that these are still speculation, so don’t be surprised if the XPad launches in other color combinations.
Infinix XPad Price
Estimated Launch Price: $178
The Infinix XPad launch price is unknown and will be the first tablet from the company.
However, we suspect the device will be a mid-range tablet designed to attract a broader audience, so we don’t expect the pricing to be high like the Apple iPad Pro or the Samsung tabs.
Rumors suggest the tablet will launch in India at 15,000 rupees which is around $178. This price point, if true, will place the Infinix XPad in a good position to compete with the likes of Xiaomi, OnePlus, Lenovo, and Oppo in the budget tablet market.
