  • It also allows for full creativity and personalization, making it simple to gain followers based on shared interests and content.
  • The new creative tool is now live.

Instagram has introduced a new ‘profile card’ feature to let you share your profile in a fun, creative way.

The update is designed to make it easier for other users to follow you based on shared interests while acting as a “digital business card,” as stated in Meta’s press release.

The new customizable addition to Instagram makes it possible to locate your profile with a QR code, with the two-sided card displaying a background image, profile pic, bio, username, and even a music track of your choice.

Small businesses and enterprises that use the social media app are likely to see the profile card concept as a beneficial tool to attract customers and drive sales, but it could also encourage general users to network with each other.

Not everyone will want to use their Instagram account for professional purposes, but the feature brings an immediate, easier way to share your profile and connect with others.

How To Use The New ‘Profile Card’ Feature On Instagram

To edit and use your card, first navigate to your Instagram profile and select “Share Profile.”

Select the pencil icon in the top right corner to get creative and choose from the range of features to put a personal touch on your profile card.

Once complete, you can use the options at the bottom of the screen to share your digital card or download it to post on other platforms.

You can even show your credentials using the “Add to Story” option, where you will see a spinning, two-sided display with further customizable options.
