He revealed new details on the legendary game during the second episode of his NHK radio show “Hideo Kojima’s Radio: Infinity.

According to a report by Famitsu (in Japanese), Kojima disclosed that filming and recording with the cast of Death Stranding 2 have been completed. However, the game has now entered what he terms an “adjustment phase,” which is expected to last about a year.

During this phase, the development team will focus on refining various aspects of the game, including scene transitions, controls, clarity, and entertainment value. 

Kojima said this stage will be crucial for ensuring a polished and immersive gaming experience as developers work to iron out any potential bugs or glitches while fine-tuning gameplay mechanics and visual elements.

Death Stranding 2: Story Line

In adjacent news, the game creator recently provided insights into Death Stranding 2’s recent trailer. He highlighted the team’s efforts to showcase the sequel’s aesthetics, themes, and gameplay elements. The trailer aims to demonstrate what aspects will be inherited from the original Death Stranding, what will be different, and how the characters are interconnected.
