Lenovo has announced the launch of its Lenovo Legion Tab in India, which is said to have been designed specifically for gaming.

The tablet features an 8.8in QHD+ screen and runs on a Snapdragon chipset. The Lenovo Legion Tab is priced at Rs 39,999 and will be available from 15 August 2024 via Lenovo.com and Flipkart.

The Lenovo Legion Tab measures 7.6mm in thickness and weighs 350g. It comes with an 8.8in QHD+ (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) LCD screen with support for 144Hz screen refresh rate, 343 PPI, and 500 nits of peak brightness. It supports TUV full care 2.0 standards for a comfortable viewing experience. The tablet also features an integrated haptic system which will enhance the gaming experience.  

Under the hood, the new Lenovo Legion Tab is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB RAM. The tablet has up to 1TB of expandable storage support via a microSD slot and comes with a Legion ColdFront vapor thermal solution to keep the heat in check during intensive gaming sessions. It has three performance modes to customize the tablet’s performance for different situations. These include Beast Mode, which delivers the highest frame rates for intense gaming, Balanced Mode, which provides an ideal balance of performance, heat management, and battery life, and Energy Saving Mode, which extends the life of the 6550mAh battery for prolonged, untethered gaming sessions.

The tablet is backed by a 6550 mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging and Qualcomm Quick Charge™ 3.0 technology. The device also features a charging bypass feature during gaming to help manage temperatures and keep cables out of the way. Additionally, the USB Type-C ports support DisplayPort™ 1.4, allowing users to connect the tablet to a compatible external display. The Lenovo Legion Tab also seamlessly integrates into the Lenovo Legion ecosystem. This will allow users to easily connect with other Legion devices allowing content to be easily shared between the Lenovo Legion Tab and a Legion Laptop. The device is also compatible with Legion monitors, headsets, keyboards, and mice.
