Lenovo has revealed its latest generation of laptops driven by AI technology for both the business and consumer markets. 

At IFA 2024 in Berlin the Lenovo Innovation World event was the setting for the new lineup of products, including ThinkPad, ThinkBook, Yoga, and IdeaPad laptops.

The embedded Aura software allows you to tailor your experience for specific use, including enhanced video call quality and do-not-disturb work.

In a press release, Lenovo detailed how “60% of PCs shipped by 2027 (are) anticipated to be AI-capable.” This range of products sees the Chinese brand delivering change for customers, which could allow many to experience AI technology in a laptop for the first time.

At the top end of the new launches for business users is the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13 Aura Edition. This device is said to have “unparalleled AI capabilities”, packing a lot inside.

The 14in laptop has a 16:10 2.8K (2880×1800) OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, there is an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor, with the graphics powered by an Intel Arc Xe2 GPU, and a replaceable 57Wh battery unit.

Additional Models Available, But Not in the U.S

For personal consumers, the one of interest is the Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition.

Designed in collaboration with Intel for “demanding tasks”, this device is a premium offering

from Lenovo with a 15.3in display in OLED or LCD touch panel and screen resolution of 2.8k. With an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor and a battery life of 70Wh, this laptop contains all the power you will require for work, browsing, and streaming, all day long.

The IdeaPad 5x 2-in-1 is another interesting option for those who want something different, equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus 8-core chip and an Adreno GPU.

Lenovo’s latest range is enhanced with the Yoga Pro 7, IdeaPad Slim 5x and the IdeaPad Slim 5 models, but these will not be available in the United States until further notice.
