With the PS5 Pro and the 30th Anniversary Limited Edition available from Nov. 7, eBay sellers are already offering it for up to $12,300.
Sony announced the PS5 Pro and its 30th Anniversary Limited Edition earlier in September. The consoles will become available on Nov. 7, with an option to pre-order them now for $699 and $999, respectively. However, sellers on eBay already offer them for much higher prices, the most expensive option being $12,300 and the average price being $4,500-5,000.
There are 12,300 units of the Limited Edition available globally, and within seconds of sales starting, they were already sold out. Even though Sony limited pre-orders to one per person, scalpers may have found a way to bypass its security system.
PS5 Pro is set for release four years after the regular PS5 came out. It will have 2TB of internal storage, an upgraded GPU and AI-driven PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution upscaling technology.
