Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa has broken the silence surrounding the highly anticipated Switch 2, shedding light on the console’s future in a recent social media post.

However, he dashed hopes of an imminent reveal by stating that no further details will be shared during the upcoming Nintendo Direct in June.
“We will be holding a Nintendo Direct this June regarding the Nintendo Switch software lineup for the latter half of 2024, but please be aware that there will be no mention of the Nintendo Switch successor during that presentation,” Furukawa added.
