OnePlus has revealed the release date and time for the OnePlus Buds Pro 3: August 20th, 9:00 a.m. EST.
We recently guessed that the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 would launch in February 2025, as OnePlus typically releases its products in February.
However, OnePlus surprised everyone by announcing that it will launch the Buds Pro 3 on August 20th, breaking its pattern of launching earbuds alongside a new smartphone.

OnePlus Buds Pro 3: Expected Features
Although OnePlus revealed the release date today, most of the specs for the Buds Pro 3 have already leaked online. If the leaks are accurate, the Buds will have dual drivers—an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter. You’ll get Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, 43 hours of playback on a full charge, an IP55 rating, 50 dB ANC, and a 1 Mbps bitrate.
Another interesting feature you’ll likely find in the Buds is a completely new AI calling feature that creates a summary of your conversation on calls. You can start or end this feature by triple-tapping the stem of the buds.
Regarding design and color, the Buds Pro 3 is expected to have a leather finish and come in Midnight Opus and Lunar Radiance colors. There’s still no solid leak regarding the product’s price; however, the Buds Pro 2 launched at $180, so you can expect the Buds Pro 3 to be priced around that amount.
