After weeks of teasing and leaks, OnePlus has introduced the Pad 2 and Nord 4.

The OnePlus Pad 2 is a significant revamp of the company’s Android tablet. It runs on the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip as the OnePlus 12, and centers on a 12.1-inch, 144Hz display with a 3K resolution and a more outdoor-friendly 900-nit brightness.

Audio is equally improved, with more powerful output that can even mimic spatial audio. The 9,510mAh battery isn’t surprising, but the 43-day standby time should keep the tablet from draining too much when idle.

The OnePlus Pad 2 is available to pre-order now for $500 (normally $550) with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. You can get the slate’s signature Smart Keyboard for $75, and the Stylo 2 pen for $50. The tablet should arrive on July 30th.

The Nord 4 is a major redesign of OnePlus’ mid-range phone with a flat-sided metal unibody that’s relatively slim at 0.31 inches. While the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 won’t outrun flagships, it promises relatively strong on-device AI. The maximum 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage are also uncommonly generous for this price class.

The 6.74-inch, 120Hz 1,240p display is also good for the category, and the 2,150-nit peak brightness could help in bright daylight. OnePlus touts a 50MP primary Sony camera that better handles low light, although the 8MP ultrawide and 16MP front-facing camera are to be expected for a cost-conscious phone.

You won’t find wireless charging. The 5,500mAh battery is the largest you’ll find in any OnePlus phone, though, and the 100W wired charging is the fastest for the Nord series with a full top-up coming in 28 minutes using an optional power adapter. OnePlus hopes you’ll keep your phone for a long time, too, with four years of battery health (80% or better), four years of OS updates, and six years of security updates.

OnePlus is taking preorders for the Nord 4 starting at £479 (€569) for the 16GB/512GB configuration, although there will also be a £429 (€499) version with 12GB of memory and 256GB of space. Deliveries should arrive by August 8th as of this writing. There’s no mention of a North American model, though, so you’ll have to be content with lower-end Nords and the OnePlus 12 series.
