Are Cat Meme Coins Growing Again?
Popcat refers to the so-called cat meme coins. Moreover, it’s the largest coin in this category by market capitalization at $881 million.
However, it’s not the only one making waves. The price of cat in a dogs world (MEOW), the second-largest cat meme coin, increased by 26.9% in the past day.
The Mog Coin (MOG), which placed third in this ranking, didn’t lag behind other meme coins. During this time, the price rose 23.4%.
However, it’s worth highlighting the michi (MICHI). This coin, although it’s in 5th place by market capitalization, showed the best performance among the top 10 cat meme coins. The MICHI price increased by 34.2%.
Popcat Among Most Traded Coins on DEX
According to GeckoTerminal, Popcat’s trading volume paired with Solana (SOL) reached $43.35 million, making it the second-largest pool on decentralized exchanges (DEX).
The first place was occupied by Wrapped Solana paired with USDC. The trading volume of this pool is $115.95 million. Most likely, since this is a stablecoin, it indicates that this number has grown so much because traders are closing trades for profit.
Also, another cat meme coin made it into the top 10 in terms of trading volume on DEX. The MEOW is in 7th place paired with SOL at $18.74 million.
