10. Product Keynote: Tensor

Solana has always had a rich ecosystem of non-fungible token (NFT) projects like move-to-earn app STEPN and profile picture NFT collection Mad Lads. At the heart of Solana’s NFT ecosystem are marketplaces like Tensor.

9. Product Keynote: Zeus

2024 has seen an increased effort from the crypto community to bring decentralized finance (DeFi) to the trillion-dollar Bitcoin economy. Zeus Network is one of those projects.

Zeus aims to create a permissionless communication layer between Solana and Bitcoin. Later, the project hopes to extend its communication layer to allow Solana to be used as a scaling solution for other blockchains.

8. Product Keynote: Huma 

Ever wondered how real-world asset (RWA) tokenization is going outside Ethereum? Product Keynote: Huma could give you hints on how Solana aims to challenge Ethereum to be the go-to blockchain for tokenizing treasuries, government notes, and corporate bonds.

Huma Finance is a tokenization platform and liquidity layer for licensed financial institutions. The company closed a $38 million investment round in September 2024 to expand its platform to the Solana blockchain.

6. Keynote: Jupiter

Decentralized exchange (DEX) Jupiter made headlines in 2024 on the back of its governance token launch. The platform also briefly surpassed automated market maker (AMM) pioneer Uniswap in daily trade volume to cement its place as one of the popular onchain crypto trading platforms in the world.

5. Keynote: Solana Mobile

Decentralized computing marketplace Render (RNDR) is one of the biggest projects within the Solana ecosystem. Originally built on the Ethereum blockchain, Render migrated to Solana in November 2023.

The final phase of Endgame will see the project build a standalone blockchain for its protocol. According to co-founder Rune Christensen, the Solana stack could be used as a “foundation” for MakerDAO’s standalone blockchain.
