Sony has introduced two new InZone gaming monitors with premium and immersive displays.

The newly announced monitors include the InZone M10S and the InZone M9 II. The former is the more premium offering among the two as it comes with additional features. There are a few differences between the M10S and M9 II. The M9 II succeeds the existing InZone M9. Both offerings are ideal for avid PS5 and PC gamers

The Sony InZone M10S and M9 II come with a height-adjustable tripod and a small circular base with a 180-degree swivel for better ergonomics and more desk space. There are a host of connectivity options including a DisplayPort, two HDMI 2.1 ports, two USB-A ports, a USB-B port, and a 3.5mm jack. Only the InZone M9 II is equipped with dual 2W speakers.

In terms of display, the Sony InZone M10S features a 27in OLED screen with a whopping 480Hz refresh rate. It has a QHD resolution, 0.03ms response time, 98.5% DCI-P3 color gamut, and a 1,300 nits peak brightness for an immersive viewing experience. Meanwhile, the InZone M9 II has a 27in 4K LCD panel with a 166Hz refresh rate, 750 nits peak brightness, (both upgraded from its predecessor), and a 1ms response time. 

Both the InZone M10S and M9 II are VESA DisplayHDR 400 and 600 certified respectively for deeper blacks and contrasts. They also support HDR10, variable refresh rate, and NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility. The M9 II has local dimming backlight scanning technology for deep black colors and shadow details. 

According to Sony, the InZone M10S is developed with the Fnatic esports team. It packs tournament-ready features like the ability to switch to 24.5in mode or a lower 1080p resolution which is ideal for e-sports players. There are also FPS Pro and FPS Pro+ modes that are said to simulate the image characteristics of older LCD monitors. The M10S is also equipped with a high-performance thermal system for reducing burn-in issues on OLED panels. 

The Sony InZone M10S carries a price tag of $1,099 whereas the InZone M9 II retails at $799. Both monitors are available for purchase from Sony’s official website
