PlayStation’s Days of Play event, which ran from May 29 to June 12, 2024, offered significant discounts on nearly 500 titles, encouraging gamers to expand their game collections.
The event also included community challenges that engaged players in collective activities, such as playing 2.5 million hours in Astro’s Playroom, earning 200 million trophies, and playing 10,000 unique games. Players rose to the challenge, surpassing even the most ambitious goals.
Amidst the celebration, Sony acknowledged issues with the PlayStation Stars program, which has been down for an extended period.
Players can still not redeem their points or access the Days of Play Community Celebration Digital Collectible. Sony has assured users that they are working on a resolution and will provide updates as soon as possible.
In the meantime, the free Astro Bot avatars are available until July 11, 2024, allowing PlayStation users to show off their new profile pictures. Astro Bot, a beloved PlayStation mascot, continues to charm fans, and his upcoming PS5 adventure is highly anticipated.
The new game promises a significantly more extensive experience than Astro’s Playroom, featuring over 80 stages, 15 new abilities, and more than 150 PlayStation character cameos.
