Sony might have unofficially confirmed the PS5 Pro’s design in its 30th anniversary announcement.

The PS5 Pro is hotly anticipated to debut globally towards the end of this year. Leaks and rumors have revealed plenty of details about the upcoming console. It is expected to pack significant upgrades compared to the standard and slim variants.

The Japanese tech giant in an official blog post announced the PlayStation’s 30th-anniversary celebration plans. This is where the PS5 Pro’s design seems to have been subtly revealed by Sony.

The poster initially looks normal. However, if you look closely and zoom in between the PS logo and the ‘3’ in the ‘30th’, you can spot the upcoming console. Then it becomes easier to observe that the PS5 Pro has three stripes on the faceplate. It looks similar to the Adidas logo. Notably, in the same poster, the PS5 Slim is also located on the right side, which has a single strip on the faceplate. The Pro model is also expected to be slightly thicker than the Slim.

Sony does not divulge any official details regarding the PS5 Pro. The brand also shared an Instagram story with a different resolution and a text that reads “Your first look”. The motive hints that Sony is cheekily referencing the upcoming console.

Last week Dealabs also shared an image of the PS5 Pro with the same design that is seen in the 30th anniversary poster shared by Sony. Confirmation regarding the PS5 is still pending, but these various clues hint at an imminent official launch.
