TECNO has launched its POP 9 5G budget smartphone in India. The device allows users to get a 5G-enabled smartphone priced below Rs 10,000 ($120).
The smartphone will go on sale starting 7th October in India. The handset packs:

TECNO POP 9 5G: Specifications and features
The TECNO POP 9 weighs 189g and packs a display with support for 120Hz screen refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC along with up to 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Users will get the option to expand the storage using a microSD card.
It runs on Android 14 with HiOS 14 on top and packs support for Dual SIM (nano + nano + microSD).
The device’s cameras include a 48 MP rear shooter, an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and an IR sensor.
The device has a 3.5 mm audio jack, stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos support. It is also certified IP54 for improved water resistance and supports NFC. The smartphone has a 5000mAh battery and supports 18W wired charging.
TECNO POP 9 5G Price
The smartphone is now available for pre-booking via Amazon. The sales start on October 7th.
It will be available in color options, including Midnight Shadow, Azure Sky, and Aurora Cloud, alongside two in-the-box mobile skins.

As part of a special launch offer, it starts at Rs 8,499(approx $101.63) for the 4GB + 64GB variant and Rs 8,999(approx $107.61) for the 4GB + 128GB variant.
