Tecno has launched the POVA 6 Neo 5G smartphone in India.
It is the newest addition to the POVA 6 series. Other devices in the lineup include the POVA 6 Pro 5G, POVA 6, and POVA 6 Neo 4G. The latest smartphone is a budget offering that packs AI features, a high refresh rate display, and more.
The Tecno POVA 6 Neo 5G features a 6.67in display bearing an HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a center-aligned punch-hole cutout that is called Dynamic Port as it displays incoming calls, charging status, and more. In terms of the design, the model includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. There is a squircle-shaped camera island on the back panel.
On the optics front, the Tecno POVA 6 Neo 5G comes with a 108MP primary sensor with f/1.89 and 3x lossless in-sensor zoom. There is a secondary AI lens. Up front, the device has an 8MP selfie snapper. The smartphone comes with a range of AI features like AIGC portrait, AI cutout, AI magic eraser, AI artboard, AI wallpaper, and Ask AI.
Under the hood, the Tecno POVA 6 Neo 5G houses the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. It packs up to 8GB RAM along with virtual RAM and up to 256GB storage expandable via a microSD card slot. Power is provided by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 18W fast charging. Software-wise, it ships with Android 14-based HiOS 14.5 out of the box.
The Tecno POVA 6 Neo 5G costs ₹13,999 and ₹14,999 for the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB RAM and storage configurations respectively. It is offered in Azure Sky, Midnight Shadow, and Aurora Cloud colors. The device can be purchased starting September 14 from Amazon.
