In Fortnite, the Cybertruck will be available for purchase in the in-game store, aligning with the game’s current season which heavily features vehicle combat. The vehicle’s design, which has faced scrutiny for its unconventional aesthetics and various recalls since its launch, is expected to be similar to what players will witness in the game design.
Rocket League will also see the Cybertruck join its roster of vehicles, which often includes both real and fictional cars as premium downloadable content. This addition is part of a broader trend in gaming where iconic vehicles are integrated into gameplay. They enhance player experience and engagement. The Cybertruck’s bulky design aligns well with the game’s visual style, making it a fitting choice for the Rocket League community.

Epic Games’ Auto Collaborations
Epic Games has a history of collaborating with automotive brands, having previously introduced vehicles from companies like Ferrari and Aston Martin into their games. The Cybertruck’s inclusion is expected to draw attention not only to its gameplay features but also to the ongoing discussions surrounding the Cybertruck’s real-world performance and design flaws.
Apart from vehicle brands, Fortnite also teased a new collaboration with Adidas, expanding its roster of apparel partnerships. The game had previously joined forces with luxury brand Ralph Lauren and sportswear giant Nike, showcasing its versatility in cross-industry collaborations.
