Remedy has given Alan Wake 2 fans a treat by announcing that its first DLC release, Night Springs, will be available tomorrow (June 8th).

The add-on includes three episodes and multiple playable characters based around “what if” scenarios from the fictional TV show of the same name. At least one includes a distinctly Twin Peaks-style atmosphere, and Jesse from Control also makes an appearance.

Night Springs will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, much like Alan Wake 2 itself. It’s exclusive to the Deluxe Edition of the game.

This is the first of two planned expansions for Alan Wake 2, and it’s not surprising that Remedy is eager to move quickly. It’s the developer’s fastest-selling game to date, moving over 1.3 million units between its October 2023 launch and February 2024. DLC like this could keep the game’s momentum going for considerably longer.
