What is The Plucky Squire?
Fun, surprising 2D/3D platformer
Do you ever wake up in the morning and find you’ve been kicked out of your own storybook? That’s the plight of The Plucky Squire’s hero, Jot, who crosses paths with the villain Humgrump and has to bounce between the 2D world of his storybook and a 3D reality.
Players can expect challenges, puzzles, and mini-games as he fights to save his friends and himself and return to the happy ending of the storybook.
Co-director James Turner, formerly of Game Freak and The Pokémon Company, said: “It’s a new surprise on every page“.
We’ve been promised boxing badgers and jetpack flights, and early buzz around the game is positive.
