Why Trust Techopedia
Key Takeaways

  • Meta has announced an array of new features for Threads, including Scheduling, Multiple Drafts, and Insights.
  • The new features will be available on the web version, and may land on mobile later.
  • Threads creators can use Multiple Drafts and Insights now, with Scheduling coming soon.

Meta’s new features for Threads let creators and businesses schedule content, write multiple drafts of posts, and gain insight into their followers.

It can take time to craft the perfect post, but with Multiple Drafts for Threads, creators and businesses can write and save multiple drafts of posts before sharing them with their network. The feature currently allows creators to save up to 100 posts, so you can create content to share later, when you’re ready.

The Scheduling feature makes it easy to write posts and schedule them to publish at a later date or time. You can schedule posts multiple days in advance, or publish them several times a day. This is great for creators heading off on vacation, or anyone who wants to create their content in advance and post consistently.

Thread’s Insights Provides Insider Knowledge on Followers

With Insights, businesses and creators can gain an overview and deeper understanding of who is following them and how their content is performing. A range of metrics will show the number of views, replies, quotes, and reposts on posts.

Insights also provides you with follower demographics so you can see your followers’ age, gender, and location. You can even look at how your follower count has evolved over time. You’ll also find out what content your audience likes best and engages with most often, so you can create more tailored posts to grow your audience.

Insights and Multiple Drafts are available to use now on the web version of Threads. Scheduling is set to begin testing soon.

Meta says it is bringing all these features to Threads on the web first and will “explore mobile versions later on.”
