Trello, the popular project management tool, is set to enforce a new policy on its Free Workspaces, effective April 8, 2024. The update will restrict the number of collaborators to 10 per Workspace, with additional changes to simplify user management.
Starting next month, Trello’s Free Workspaces will undergo significant adjustments, including limiting collaborators to 10 individuals. This move is part of Trello’s efforts to streamline user management and enhance workspace efficiency.
The changes will impact various user categories, including Workspace members, guests, and pending invites. Furthermore, Workspaces with over 10 collaborators by April 8 will transition to view-only status by May 20, 2024.
Workspace administrators will soon receive additional features to facilitate collaborator management within Free Workspaces.
Trello’s paid plans continue to offer unlimited collaborators, providing users with flexibility and scalability options for their projects. Additionally, Trello extends discounts for educational and non-profit organizations interested in upgrading their plans.
