Ubisoft Unveils Assassin’s Creed Mirage for iPhone and iPad

Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Mirage is set to revolutionize mobile gaming. It will launch on June 6 for select Apple devices. 

The game debuted on consoles and PCs in October 2023. It representing a significant milestone as the first console Assassin’s Creed title to be fully ported to mobile platforms.

Following the journey of Basim, a young street thief embroiled in a quest for redemption and truth, Assassin’s Creed Mirage promises players a seamless gaming experience across various platforms. 

Its cross-progression and cross-save features will allow players to effortlessly transition between mobile, console, or PC versions while retaining their progress.

One of the game’s standout features is its tailored touchscreen controls, designed to provide comfort and intuitive gameplay on iPhone and iPad devices. Additionally, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will offer support for external controllers.

The launch strategy for Assassin’s Creed Mirage includes a free 90-minute trial period. This provides players with a taste of the action before unlocking the full version via a single in-app purchase. Pre-orders are currently available on the App Store.

Interestingly, though Ubisoft announced June 6 as the launch date, the App Store indicates a June 10 release, coinciding with WWDC kickoff excitement. 

Players eager to dive in can set Assassin’s Creed Mirage for auto-download on their iPhone 15 Pro/Max or iPad with an M1 chip or later by tapping “Get” on the game’s listing.

The arrival of Assassin’s Creed Mirage on iOS devices signifies a significant leap for mobile gaming, showcasing the capabilities of Apple’s latest hardware, including the A17 Pro chip. While the game’s initial release is exclusive to iOS, an Android launch remains possible, leaving fans hopeful for future expansions.
