Creating realistic sports or fighting games is tricky, and boxing, for all its footwork, stance, punch variety, and human versus human combat, isn’t the easiest. Fortunately, the Undisputed release date is right around the corner.
The realism-focused boxing title brings together modern and legendary fighters and champions in a title with over 70 of them. The creators have worked with the sport’s governing bodies, brands, and boxers themselves to deliver what they hope is a knockout game.
So whether you’re a fan or participant of the ‘noble art’ or ‘sweet science’, or just want to step into the shoes of your favorite fighter, take a stool for the Undisputed release date and essential information.
Undisputed Release Date
Having been in development since at least 2020 and available to play as a beta on Steam since January 31, 2023, the Undisputed game release date is Friday, October 11, 2024, across all platforms.
That’s the date you can play regardless of the edition of the game you’ve purchased. However, if you already picked up the ‘Deluxe WBC Edition’, the Undisputed early access program was available from October 8. Additionally, the PC beta version of the title was updated to the base edition of the game on Steam on October 8.
Undisputed Pre-orders
Undisputed’s pre-orders are available for PC via Steam, on the official PlayStation Store for Undisputed PS5 fans, and Xbox Store for Undisputed Xbox Series X/S players.
There are two editions available, and both were made available for pre-order. The two main editions and their contents are below:
Undisputed Price
Undisputed’s price information does change depending on whether you’re a console or PC gamer, and here’s how it works. The base edition of the game on PS5 or Xbox Series X/S is $59.99, and the Deluxe WBC Edition costs $79.99. Of course, the WBC Deluxe Edition offers extra content, as covered above.
However, if you’re a PC gamer, the Undisputed game price is priced at $49.99 on Steam, while the Deluxe WBC Edition costs $69.99. Alternatively, if you buy the base edition of the game, you can pick up the Undisputed WBC Pack for $21.99.
Although it’s unclear why the cost is less for PC gamers, it may be a decision to help convert PC beta players to the full-release title at a slightly lower price.
Undisputed Platforms
Undisputed is available to play on Windows PCs via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The title isn’t available for the Nintendo Switch or older PlayStation or Xbox consoles. All release platforms will have access to the full range of Undisputed features, including the game’s core career mode.
In this mode, you can pick a real fighter from the Undisputed roster to take through a career or a custom fighter. Of course, you can also pick any of the Undisputed fighters to fight in one-off exhibitions.
Undisputed Trailers
There are three key Undisputed trailers from the official Undisputed YouTube page.
The first, published May 16, 2024, is the Undisputed Release Date Announcement Trailer. The trailer focuses on two iconic matchups: Canelo vs. Crawford and Fury vs. Usyk.
The trailer shows off in-game animation, clear boxer likenesses, and a view of in-game physics and authentic-seeming fight mechanics, closing on the October 11, 2024, release date.
The second trailer video is the Undisputed Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame Trailer. Released to celebrate the induction into the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame by ‘Showtime’ Shawn Porter, the video offers an introduction by ring announcer Jimmy Lennon Jr.
This video shows a host of iconic boxers in the ring, including Muhammed Ali, Riddick Bowe, Roy Jones Jr., Ricky Hatton, and Canelo Alvarez.
The most recent is the Undisputed Launch Trailer. At just over one minute long, it includes in-game and non-game footage and focuses on the heart, mind, and soul needed to be a boxer.
This Undisputed trailer shows in-game fighters hitting bags and working in boxing gyms, showing how hard work and determination can transform the “ordinary” into the “extraordinary” in the ring.
As a selection of Undisputed’s rostered fighters trade punches in a mix of matches, the trailer closes with talk of ‘legacy’ as Muhammed Ali, Tyson Fury, Katie Taylor, and Canelo Alvarez are shown celebrating wins.
The trailer ends by highlighting the game’s editions available for purchase and making the platforms of PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S clear.

What is Undisputed?
A Faithful Boxing Simulator From Steel City Interactive
Undisputed is a return to form for the boxing game genre, which has sat dormant for the better part of 10 years. Gone are the days of Fight Night, Punch Out, and other big boxing games. The title utilizes real-world likenesses and names of champion fighters like Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk to give fans a slice of authentic action.
The Bottom Line
Undisputed has had a good early access run via Steam while it’s been available, but the full version coming to consoles (and the platform) looks to be the real deal. It may not win over the casual audiences, but fight fanatics will have something to sink dozens (if not hundreds) of hours into.
