The vivo V40e has been released in India with a starting price under Rs. 30,000.
The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC and comes with a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup and up to 256GB of internal storage. It will be available in multiple colors and storage options and is said to be India’s slimmest smartphone in the 5500mAh battery category.

The vivo V40e measures 163.7×75.0x7.49mm and weighs 183g. It packs a 6.77in FHD+ curved AMOLED screen with support for up to 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+. The device also gets a Wet Touch feature that will enable users to operate it with wet hands.
Under the hood, the 5G-enabled handset is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset along with 8GB RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage. The phone runs on Android 14-based FuntouchOS 14.

The device comes with a dual rear camera setup headlined by a 50MP shooter with OIS. The device also gets an 8MP ultra-wide rear-facing shooter and an Aura Light unit. For selfies and video calls, it comes with a 50MP front-facing shooter. The device supports 4K video recording on both the front and rear facing.
The smartphone is backed by a 5,500mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging. It also comes with IP64 certification for improved dust and splash resistance.
Price in India and Availability
The vivo V40e will be available in two storage variants in India, While the 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs. 28,999, the 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs. 30,999. The device is available in Mint Green and Royal Bronze color options.
Customers in India can buy the device from October 2 through the Vivo India e-store, Flipkart, and mainland stores.
