Xiaomi recently launched its Redmi Pad Pro 5G in India. The device goes on sale in the country today (August 2). It comes with a Snapdragon SoC, features a QHD+ screen and packs a 10,000mAh battery.
Price in India and Availability
Xiaomi is offering an Rs 2000 (Approx $24) discount for ICICI and HDFC Credit Cards and EMIs. The 6GB+128GB variant of the Xiaomi Pad Pro 5G is priced at Rs 19,999 (Approx $240), inclusive of the discount. While the 8GB + 128GB variant of the Xiaomi Pad Pro 5G is priced at Rs 22,999 (Approx $276), the 8GB + 256GB variant will cost Rs 24,999 (Approx $300). The tablet is available in Graphite Gray, Quicksilver, and Mist Blue color options.
The company has also launched various accessories including the Redmi Smart Pen and Redmi Keyboard, which are both priced at Rs 3,999 (Approx $48). The Redmi Pad Pro Cover is priced at Rs 1,499 (Approx $18).

Specifications and Features
Xiaomi’s Redmi Pad Pro 5G measures 7.52mm in thickness and weighs 566g. The tablet features a 12.1-inch QHD+ LCD screen (2560 x 1600) with support for 120Hz screen refresh rate, 16:10 aspect ratio, Dolby Vision and 240Hz touch sampling rate. It supports a peak brightness of 500nits (typ) and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for improved protection against scratches. The device includes a quad speaker setup with support for Dolby Atmos.
Inside it is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 Mobile Platform with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. As for optics, it comes with two 8MP shooters; one on the front and the other on the back. The device is backed by a 10,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It features the Xiaomi HyperOS UI on top of Android 14. The device comes with support for 5G, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, and Bluetooth v5.2.
