Xiaomi founder and CEO Lei Jun announced on X that the Mix Flip will be released globally this month (September).
While Lei Jun didn’t mention an exact release date, it is highly likely that the smartphone will launch alongside the Xiaomi 14T series on September 26. The global release brings the foldable to markets outside of China, such as Europe. The smartphone is not expected to reach the US.

The Xiaomi Mix Flip was released in China in July this year and features a 4-inch outer display. It comes with Android 14 out of the box and is powered by s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. There’s a large 4,780mAh battery that should keep the smartphone running for a full day.
The Mix Flip will face competition from the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra. However, Xiaomi’s clamshell-style foldable seems to have the upper hand over both smartphones. For comparison, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 has much larger and thicker bezels than the Mix Flip. Additionally, in terms of battery life, both the Razr 50 Ultra and Flip 6 offer only 4,000mAh batteries.
There’s no confirmation on the price of the global Mix Flip. However, Xiaomi’s regional manager mentioned back in July that the smartphone would be priced around €1,300 in Central and Eastern Europe, so you can expect the official pricing to be in that range.
