What would Fashion Week be without new apparel? Well, for this event, there’s at least one addition to existing Pokémon Go costumes. A two-piece suit, comprised of blue/grey plaid pants and a matching jacket, is confirmed on the official Pokémon Go website.

It’s a bright look for your avatar, and you can acquire it during the event with PokéCoins in the in-game shop. Don’t worry; the pants and jacket will also be available even when the event ends.

What is Pokémon Go Fashion Week?

Pokémon Go Fashion Week has been an annual event on the Pokémon Go community calendar since 2020, usually in September, October, or November. However, as there was no event in October 2024, it seems that Fashion Week 2025 is making up for it with an appearance in January.

Fashion Week is a themed event featuring new costumes, items, bonuses, event-themed tasks, and themed Field Research or Paid time Research events. These are accompanied by time-limited changes to wild encounters, raids, and increased chances of finding certain Pokémon and their Shiny alternatives.

The Bottom Line

Pokémon Go Fashion Week arrives on January 10, 2025, for a first appearance in January. The normally fall-placed Fashion Week is a smartly put-together event for the Pokémon Go community to enjoy slight changes, novel items, additions, bonuses, and rewards. We’re not sure why any Pokémon Go fan wouldn’t want to participate, especially as January brings some added fun to the start of the year!
