It’s been some time since the Project Rene reveal during the Behind The Sims Summit livestream on October 18, 2022. Since then, The Sims: Project Rene release date has yet to be confirmed.

What we do know is that there have been several playtests, including one in the fall of 2024. Though there is a lack of released gameplay or even a proper name, it is likely an indicator that the game is still early in development. Therefore, it is unlikely we will see a full release in 2025.
