Chapter 4: Tour De Inferno

The New Eridu Outer Ring will be a new explorable area launching with the 1.2 update.

It is an area in the suburbs of New Eridu and is characterized as a ruthless zone operating under its own jurisdiction. The area is governed by the Sons of Calydon faction, who take on traits and aesthetics similar to a biker gang.

Zenless Zone Zero 1.2 End Game

Withering Gardens Blitz Mode

Hollow Zero will add a Blitz Mode to the Withering Garden, the mode’s fifth zone out of six in total. The addition comes with a new change where players will no longer need to use the Monitor Array to receive buffs. 

Hollow Zero is an end-game challenge mode possessing roguelike mechanics. It challenges experienced players to complete zones, and tackle waves of enemies at increasing difficulty. It offers various rewards as you progress through the zones.

Hollow Zero is unlocked after completing Chapter 1: Intermission and can be accessed through the Compendium under the Challenges tab.

Shiyu Defense Ambush Node

Upon Zenless Zone Zero’s release time, the Shiyu Defense Ambush Node becomes available for players to experience.

Shiyu Defense Ambush Node is a new challenge mode that challenges players to vanquish enemies within a certain time limit. You must complete five different stages to earn rewards such as Z-Merits, Polychromes, and other useful items.

Shiyu Defense can be unlocked by completing the Inter-Knot Reputation Rank-Up Mission, which is available after reaching Inter-Knot Level 20.
