Jonathan Tomek is the vice-president of research and development at Digital Element. He is a seasoned threat intelligence researcher with a background in network forensics, incident handling, malware analysis, and many other technology skills.
Tomek has served in the United States Marine Corps, worked at multiple threat intelligence companies, led several technical cybercrime and espionage teams and is a co-founder of THOTCON, a world-renowned hacking and security conference hosted in Chicago.
As a researcher and leader, Tomek has spoken at security conferences such as GFIRST, SANS and Suit and Spooks. He has won or placed in multiple national hacking competitions including DEFCON CTF.
