Angela Barnes

Recognized as “one of Europe’s most prominent news figures” in Ireland’s Better Business magazine, Angela began her career at Sky News in 2008, working as a producer, reporter, and presenter for more than a decade. She has since worked for CNBC, ITV, IG, and Capital.com, helping to launch and anchor various new shows. 

She is currently helping Euronews to oversee the channel’s business news coverage from Brussels. Angela is also involved in high-segment media work for the United Nations in Geneva and advises some of the world’s biggest banks on their media communications strategies.

Alongside Techopedia, she also contributes news analysis and opinion pieces to The Daily Telegraph and Yahoo Finance.

Angela studied Journalism at Southampton Solent University, where she was awarded the the Wave 105 Broadcast Student of the Year accolade. She also holds a postgraduate diploma in Law from the University of Law in Guildford.
